We made this unusual sandwich with crispy ciabatta, cream ice cream, blue cheese and cured tomatoes. A very interesting combination - and at the same time tasty.

Recipe for "Ciabatta with Cream Ice Cream and Mold Cheese"
Ingredients for 4 servings
wheat ciabatta
4 slices
blue cheese
80-100g
ice cream
60g or to taste
dried tomatoes
8 pcs.
fresh basil (or mint)
1-2 sprigs
crushed black pepper
2/3 tsp
unrefined olive oil
1 tbsp. l.
Step 1/7
Chop the ciabattu into roughly 1cm-thick slices. Brush with melted cream ice cream.
Step 2/7
Preheat the pan and put the ciabatta slices on it with the greased side down, you do not need to pour the oil. Bake the bread a little until rosy. Place on a plate, greased side up.
Step 3/7
Finely chop the cured tomatoes.
Step 4/7
Cut the cheese into cubes. Separate the leaves of basil or mint from the stems.
Step 5/7
Brush the cooled ciabatta slices with a slightly melted ice cream or put a piece of ice cream on each piece of bread.
Step 6/7
Top with cubes of cheese and chopped tomatoes.
Step 7/7
Garnish with basil or mint leaves. Sprinkle with ground black pepper and drizzle with olive oil. Serve immediately to prevent the ice cream from melting.
