Recipe "Chahohbili chicken"
Ingredients for 4-6 servings
large chicken
1 pc.
large ripe tomatoes (can be replaced with tomato product in winter)
5 pcs.
large bulbs
3-4 pcs.
bell pepper
1 pc.
hot pepper
1 pc.
greens (cilantro, dill, basil)
large bundle
garlic
3 cloves
coriander (grain)
½ tsp
uzho-suneli
½ tsp
salt
freshly ground black pepper
Step 1/4
Cut the chicken into parts, put in a hot dry frying pan and fry over high heat until golden brown, you do not need to add oil.
Step 2/4
Place the chicken on a plate and fry the ring-cut onions in the remaining fat.
Step 3/4
Turn down the heat, return the chicken to the pan to the onions, add the diced bell peppers and finely chopped hot pepper (or part of it), coriander, uzho-suneli and simmer gently for 15-20 minutes.

Cut the tomatoes into cubes and add to the chicken, stir, you can pour in a little hot water if there is not too much juice from the tomato. Simmer for about 15 minutes more, pour in the chopped greens, remove from the heat and squeeze out the garlic. Cover and let brew for 5-10 minutes.
