If you want to please yourself or loved ones with a quick cake and you have a microwave, this recipe is perfect. Of course, this option is far from the classic cake, but if you decorate it with icing and sprinkles, you can create the right mood by spending very little time.

Ingredients for 2 servings

40 g (2 tbsp)
milk
2 tbsp. spoons
sugar
1-1.5 tbsp. spoons
baking powder
0.5 tbsp. spoons
candied orange
20 g
vanilla sugar
0.5 tsp
cinnamon
¼ tsp or to taste

Step 1/8
Break an egg into a bowl, pour in the milk.
Step 2/8
Melt the butter. Add it to the milk and egg. Add the sugar and vanilla sugar and stir.

Add flour, baking powder, cinnamon.

Cut the candied fruits into small cubes and put them on the rest of the ingredients.

Mix everything until smooth.

Arrange the resulting mixture in two small mugs suitable for microwave use. Cook cakes for 5 minutes at 800W (or choose 80% power from 100% of your microwave). Check readiness with toothpick.

While the pastry is cooking, make the icing. To do this, pour the protein of one egg into a bowl, add 1 teaspoon of orange juice, powdered sugar and beat everything together with a whisk until smooth. If you get a lot, you can add a little more juice to the desired consistency. By the way, it is not necessary to use all the icing to decorate two cakes, you can distribute it into more.
