Until fig season is over, be sure to make bruschettes like this. Combining figs with blue cheese and cured meats is something special. It is very tasty to serve such bruschettes for morning coffee or in the evening, like a snack for wine.

Recipe for "Bruschetta with Figs"
Ingredients for 3 servings
fig
2 pcs.
Pechersk butter bread (or wheat baguette)
3 pieces
blue cheese
3 slices
raw or prosciutto speck
3 strips
freshly ground black pepper
to taste
balsamic sauce
ad libitum
Step 1/4
Toast the bread in a toaster.
Step 2/4
Immediately place the cheese on top to warm up slightly.
Step 3/4
Roughly chop the figs and place on top of the cheese.
Step 4/4
Add slices of speck or prosciutto, garnish with basil leaves and pepper. Add a few drops of balsamic if desired.
