"Ban bao" recipe
Ingredients for 4 servings
flour
300g
milk
150 ml
sugar
pinch
salt
pinch
vegetable oil
10 ml
dry yeast
5 g
pork and beef mince
250 g
egg
4 pcs.

garlic
2 cloves
sesame

For the dough, mix flour, warm milk, sugar, salt, oil and yeast. Knead the soft dough and leave in a warm place for half an hour.

Boil hard-boiled eggs for the filling. Grind the onion and garlic, add to the mince. Salt and pepper.

Divide the dough into 4 parts, roll out the cakes. Put 2 tablespoons of minced meat in the middle of each, and an egg on top.

Pinch the rolls. Leave them in a warm place for another half hour.

Cook the banh bao in the steamer for 30 minutes.

To serve, sprinkle sesame seeds over the buns.
