How is bound tea produced

Large-scale production of flowering tea is located in the Chinese provinces of Yunnan and Fujian.

Manufacturing includes the following steps:

  • Harvesting. In the rainy season, two upper tea leaves and a kidney are manually collected from the branches of tea bushes.

  • Immediately after the end of the collection, the processing of raw materials begins. In order for the flower tea to twist better, they use a slightly fermented classic green tea or reduce the fermentation of red tea.

  • The leaves are twisted and dried at a certain temperature in a special oven.

  • Dried leaves are sorted, taking into account the length of the leaves, and flower buds are dried in special chambers or in the sun, thereby dehydrating them. Most often used chrysanthemum, osmantus, hibiscus, jasmine. Amaranth, lavender, calendula, cloves are also found.

  • Next, the most amazing process begins - linking ready-made components. Masters of tea art tie tea leaves from below into a bunch, inside which a whole flower is placed, or several flowers. They lay more cups on top and tie the top with threads. The process is done very carefully, as a result of which one integral & laquo; ball & raquo; is obtained from the beam and bud. weighing 5-10 g. Depending on the method of the ligament, the form and composition may be different.

  • To secure the mold, the finished binder is wrapped in a nylon cloth and dried in an oven.
