How is flower tea made?
As mentioned, tied teas are made by hand by Chinese craftswomen. For such tea, only long tea shoots are harvested, called & laquo; rainy flushes & raquo;, because they are harvested in a short period of time during the rainy season.
As a rule, green, less often white tea is used for such products, because a weakly or unfermented elastic sheet is convenient for knitting.
In order to preserve useful substances, tipsy are treated on the day of collection, drying fermented flushes at a low temperature.
The leaves are then sorted by length and collected in a bunch centered on a dried flower. The bundle is bound with a natural thread made of silk or cotton. Then, to shape, the ball is twisted into nylon and finally dried in an oven.
Bound tea can have a wide variety of shapes, ranging from a classic ball, ellipse, heart or mushroom to exotic animals. There may be one inflorescence inside the typses, and sometimes two or three:
