A cup of hot tea drunk in nature or on the road is rated very differently from the usual residential or urban conditions.
Beverage & laquo; takeaway & raquo; everyone seems richer, more fragrant, and just tastier.
However, for proper preparation, it is not enough just to buy high-quality tea, you still need to know all the subtleties of brewing in a thermos.
What should a thermos be?
Two types of containers are common: with a glass or metal flask.
The glass keeps the water temperature much longer, but it is more fragile and breaks quite easily when the flask falls. This is a minus of this type of thermos, but for storing tea this is the best option (of course, after a clay flask).
A thermos with a metal vessel is not recommended for brewing tea at all, because the metal can give the drink an extraneous taste.
The plug in the thermos shall be sealed and insulated. The presence of a valve will allow you to pour liquid, keeping the original temperature longer, and also prevent the steamed tea leaf from entering the cup.
Optimal thermos volume for tea brewing & ndash; 1-1.3 liters.
Before use, the flask is poured with boiling water, only then the tea leaf is poured.
The approximate ratio of green tea is one teaspoon per liter of water, and black & ndash; half a teaspoon, but the exact proportions can always be adjusted to suit personal preferences.

What should be the tea for the thermos?
Absolutely any. For brewing in a thermos, you can choose a variety at your discretion, but in the hot season green or grass are popular, and in the cold & ndash; black or red.
Bottled, purified water is selected for brewing. Many are not serious about picking up water using the one at hand. But the higher the quality of the water, the softer the finished tea will taste, and its aroma will become more saturated.
After boiling, you need to cool the water to 85 degrees for black tea, and to 80-75 degrees for green, pour dry brew and close the lid tightly.
The thermos has its own specifics of making tea, so sugar and lemon can be added immediately, along with dry brewing. But milk or cream is combined with the finished tea drink directly in the mug.
After 20 minutes, the green tea in the thermos will be ready for consumption. Black & ndash; in 10 minutes. Herbal plants take longer to brew and infuse.
It is not recommended to keep the finished drink longer than 5-6 hours & ndash; after this time, the infusion will become too strong, tart and bitter, and prolonged exposure to high temperatures will kill & raquo; all natural fragrance.
There is another option for drinking tea from a thermos: you can brew tea leaf in your usual way & ndash; using a porcelain kettle or guywan, and then simply pouring the drink into a thermos to keep it warm.
Thermos care after tea is easy. You can eliminate the plaque on the walls of the flask using a few slices of lemon or a couple of teaspoons of soda, poured with boiling water and left overnight.
Storing tea in a thermos may not be the best option, but you will have the opportunity to always have a warm fresh drink on hand that will not only quench your thirst, but also give new shades of positive emotions to your trips.
